A New Chapter for ZGD Trading

Zambesi Gold today announced that ZGD trading is moving from BitMart to new exchange venues, following BitMart’s announcement that it will cease trading platform operations. BitMart has provided a withdrawal window that runs through January 2027, so there is no time pressure on holders and no action is needed today.

Why Zambesi Gold (ZGD) Transitions Trading to New Exchange Venues

On 26 July 2026, BitMart announced an orderly wind-down of its entire trading platform. New registrations, deposits, and orders are being progressively suspended, all trading services will cease on 26 August 2026, and the platform will officially close on 31 January 2027. This is a platform-wide decision by BitMart affecting every listed asset, not a change specific to ZGD.

Zambesi Gold is using the window ahead of BitMart’s closure to relist ZGD on new venues so holders retain uninterrupted trading access. ZGD orders on BitMart have been withdrawn ahead of the move. New venues are being brought online quickly, and the team expects the transition to complete well inside BitMart’s withdrawal window.

What this means for holders

Your tokens are unaffected. ZGD held in self-custody wallets on Avalanche C-Chain is untouched by this change.

Holders with balances currently custodied on BitMart should withdraw to a self-custody wallet on Avalanche C-Chain at their convenience, any time before BitMart’s window closes. Tokens can then be traded on the new venues once each goes live.

Where ZGD trades next

Zambesi Gold is finalising listings across a mix of leading Avalanche-native DEXes and top-tier centralized exchanges. Market making will be in place from launch so trading resumes with depth rather than a thin book. Specific venues and listing dates will be announced through official channels as each confirms.
